First lesson of the weekend with Myra today. Omg, Zane was ALPO today.
He was SUCH a jerk. i.e.-kicking out, tossing his head, hanging on the reins. I don't know what his deal was today.
She had a hold of my reins, by the bit and was like, you need to be more elastic, while I'm holding the reins too. I was like, how can I be elastic if you're basically grabbing the reins from me? I get slightly confused because her and Sue's methods are a like, but just a slight bit different. We'll see. She did complement me on my seat :) She said he still has a big muscle under his neck, and I was like, nooo that's because he's all hollow and being a brat. He better be good tomorrow. We're doing lateral work! Her big thing is having me shorten his stride which is really hard for him considering his size.
It was sooo cold today during my lesson! My butt was freezing.
I guess the day was redeemed by the fact that I came home and baked sugar cookies!!
I have the possiblity of work study/co-op at Sue's barn next year, as I will be a senior. What better way to spend my time than just about three hours of not being in school, and spending time at the barn?!? I may even have time to take on a project horse, Teddy, here I come!!
Myra in two weeks, I am sooooo pumped for that. Zane's come such a long way since the last time we took a lesson. There is no dip in his hind quarters any more. His gaits are becoming more and more expressive and he is going in frame for most of the canter. I'm so tickled with his progress.

I don't have any pictures from today, on my way to Sue's, I realized that I forgot my camera! It was a beautiful day! I bought ugg boots today, they are super comfy.
Fooball update: We lost to Marine City yesterday, It was a really sad game :(
We also may be renting a new house, which is pretty exciting!!
Lesson on Thursday-it went really well!!
Brought Zane in from the field, OMG he was c.a.k.e.d. in mud. I literally think I drank dirt by the time I was done with him.
Anyway, we taked up and jumped on. He was a little lazy to begin with, by omg was his canter work amazing. He was reaching super duper far underneath himself and was all light and soft. Then, the fun part. I always love after-show lessons. We did...FLYING LEAD CHANGES!!! Which he has auto changes anyway, so it really wasn't that big of a deal. Going from the right lead to the left lead was a peice of cake, but the other direction he was like, no mom, I wanna change in the corner, so there. So Sue put up a cavaletti and made him go over it, toward the barn. And vallah, a flying lead change :) He was amazing.
It's so funny, the first winter I had him, he threw a F.I.T. when we tried to make him do simple changes. literally.
Basically, this is how it went, akdnoandiaofhasdfnad foahtbadsstahd af MOM!!! I CAN DO IT MYSELF, I WANNA DO FLYING CHANGES AHHHHHH.
He had come SOOOOOOO far, I'm super duper duper duper proud of him. He was sweating behind the stifle, and was working from behind like the world was gonna end if he didn't He's got muscles coming in and has that wonderful velour fall/winter coat. Pictures to come soon (hopefully tomorrow) I'm going to miss him tons while I'm gone next week, but I'm super excited to leave, because I get to go to Churchill Downs!! eeeeeeeee (We're leaving for FFA Nationals and taking a day trip to Louisville)
Octoberfest at Copper Creek, and as far as I can tell there are like a total of 3 people in the classes that I'm showing in but I'm not sure. I'm still planning on bathing and braiding tomorrow as it's supposed to be 80+ degrees and will probably be my last chance to bathe before winter.
No show attire is required, but I was still thinking about wearing my white breeches with a nice polo or something. What do you think?
Sue has 2 new horses! One is a rescue, about 15.2, Anglo Arab and ADORABLE!! Her name is Isabell and is such a sweetie. The other is QH named Oscar. He's a boarder. The girl who owns him is 7 and her parents bought Oscar for her, guess how old he is? 5! So she is taking lessons on the ponies and Oscar is just sorta chillin' right now. He's jet black with an almost-heart shaped star so I refuse to call him Oscar, instead he is now...Black Beauty!!
Anyway, this weekend I'm only showing Training four and First level one. My tests are at 2 and 4, so I really wouldn't even have to leave home until like 11.30, but stalls are first come, first serve, which doesn't make any sense, because we paid for stalls.....and I have NO idea how Zane is tied to the trailer, and I really don't want to find out....Dressage Dreams, do you know how it goes?

I've got a dressage show June 23-24 in Mount Pleasant, and there will be pictures!!!
My road test was supposed to be monday, the 11th, but Mr. Peters is retiring, which he told me yesterday, yeah, yesterday. So now I have to reschedule it!! arrgghhhhhhhhhhhh
My breeches came in today!! Pretty white breeches! I still need to get a new show shirt with a stock tie, but I guess that can wait until the August show....we'll see.
School gets over on Thursday, and I don't have to be there until after lunch! Mitch and I are going out to breakfast :)
Soo, back to ponies. I'm somewhat frusterated right now, because it feels like we are digressing. Basically, Zane is fine in walk and trot, with being round, sometimes he needs a reminder, but the minute that we get to canter, his head goes up,and it's just really frusterating, because in order to get him down and round, it takes FOREVER, I'm not kidding at all...sigh. It'll just take alot of work....but I've basically everything, grrrrrr......
I'm re-reading the fifth and sixth Harry Potter books in prep. for the MOVIE and THE SEVENTH BOOK!! Ohhh yeah.
I just found out that three girls from my club all made it to state, and what's worst, is that NONE of them like huntseat or dressage,yet they still do it. I hate it. The all ride with their hands buried in their horses's necks, butt stuck wayyyyy out...well you get the picture.........I hope they fall off and get drug the length of the arena, stupid bitch's....

Tonight I'm planning on going and just lightly excersizing Zane, and then carting all my tack home and cleaning it! Yippee..hehe
It's soo nice outside, OMG. It's seriously like 63 degrees out! I sat on my deck and did homework :) Umm, I had an Ecology test today, hope that went good....Yeah. Not much is new. Mitch has baseball e.v.e.r.y. day, but he's on varsity this year :)

Ooohhhh, Mitch and I are both doing Horse Judging this year for Spring Skills FFA. Mr. Henry gave us a video showing classes at an Expo and I placed all the English classes right. And we get to judge a suitable for dressage class, yay! Completely off the topic, but I got my academic letter..like last month..lol. Well, I think that is all for now.

Tuesday we start new classes. And monday there isn't any school!!!! Hurrah!
Tomorrow Mitch and I are going tubing at Snow Snake, along with a bunch of other FFA peoples and then to La's for dinner. We are celebrating his birthday, which was Monday, and the twins birthday, which is tomorrow.
I had lessons last night, and the roads were horrible! I got there late, because my mom didn't come until really late to get my sister and I was pissed off...uuugghhh. But, I think that I beat the world record for tacking up..lol. It was the fastest that I ever tacked up, EVER. For some reason, Sara isn't riding Captain, and I don't know why. Last night she road Henry...haha. Sue and Her mom were making fun of her because of the coat that she had on. It's super loose and you can't tell what she is doing in the saddle. It would bother me so much! It's not zipped up or anything, it just sorta hangs...yeah.
So, an hour and half left of this class, because who ever the genioussssss that thought up the teachers contract got rid of half-days, so now our classes are 3 hours long on exam days. God, I hope they are NOT like this next semester. Because I'll have 6 hours of Mr. Everett and that is WAYYYYYYYYYY to much for any human to survive through...ugghh.

For the past week, snow has been forcasted, but it is coming this weekend. I guess we are supposed to get freezing rain tonight, which really sucks because I was thinking about going out to ride, but I've been soooo busy this week. I mean, I rode on Monday, and went to the game to give Zane a break. Wednesday I had to go get my dad's rental car, and went to my Nana's. Last night, I stayed there, and tonight we are getting shitty weather. I think I'm gonna stay home and go to the game. We'll see what tomorrow brings...even though we really need to get together and do demo stuff. And I need to work on Mitch's present and get a cake,and wow..

yeah...right now I'm pretty stretched, and dad got back last night...from West Virginia.

Tiffany had a palm reading and tarot card book in class. She decided to have me to the tarot card. OMG, what a bunch of shit. It's sooo dumb. Because I could redo the tarot tomorrow and it would be different and I don't know, it's just really dumb.
I'm 2.5 hours from all the night hours that I need for my license. I also have 23.5 hours, and I need 30 hours to take session two and get ready to take my road test...ahhhh.
I need to get out and ride....maybe tonight if I feel like it. Tomorrow I think that Mitch and I are going to the game..I'm not sure who is playing and I hope we win. We went to the game on Tuesday, but we lost 60-61 in overtime to Midland-Dow. The game wasn't conference..but now that I think about it, I think that conference games are only on Fridays, but don't quote me on that.
I rode on Monday, and the girls from the jumping team from CMU were out. There was girl who was riding Sisco(I don't know why....he's an asshole) but he bucked her off and she hit her head on the wall. Sue put her on Fanny, who is the sweetest horse ever. She could have rode Zane if she wanted, he was all warmed up,but hey, whatever. I have lesson next week, and then Myra is there the 17-18 in Feb, and I'm taking a lesson. I'm not sure if I'm only going to take two or not.
DAD GOT A PROMOTION LAST NIGHT. Yeah, the VP called him and he's going to Jackson the 22nd, I believe. Anyway..that's all for now.

Lessons tonight!!!!!! yay. I got Sue's present yesterday. BECAUSE she is english, I got her a mug and a box of Earl Grey tea, because that is her favorite..heh. I'm totally bored right now.
I got rid of Shakespeare next semester. I realllllyyy don't want to act, and it is required to that in the class, so I'm getting in Ecology, which is good, because the teacher wanted me to take it anyway...so my schedule is as follows-

Ag Leadership-Henry
I really didn't want back to back history, especially with Everett,but there isn't anything that I can do about that, because there are no appealing classes that are open during those. The nice thing is, that I don't have to worry about Am. History next year, because I get out of the way this year...anyway.
That is about all for now....TOMORROW IS MITCH AND SIX MONTH ANNIVERSARY!! We are going to dinner and I'm making cupcakes..yay! Oh and Jeff is going to be in English with me....ahahahahahaha. I may just play hookie. I wish he either would have stayed in TX or died on the way home...lol.

I rode on Saturday and fuzzy, huggly, teddy bear was wonderful :) We rode training level, test 4. He was soo good, al on the bit and everything. I was gonna have pictures,but the camera was all out of batteries :(
Christmas break is almost hereeeee, yay!!! Finals will be next week, which totally sucks, but Mitch isn't going to MP the day that we get out, so it's good!! I got white tea on Saturday, because we were at Mijers, and doing x-mas shopping. I may also get an iPod, 2g but that's okay. It'll be silver, because that is all that they make. Well, if you have read all of this ,you are awesome, and deserve a cookie, but I can't you any...:( Well, I'm done for now.

I've got my christmas list!!
1. A new phone,which I know is coming, because dad is canceling the centennial!!!
Anyway, I want the Razr that they currently have at Walmart, and it's like $30.
2. The fuzzy lined sweatshirts from Hollister, either cream or pink. I have to edit to show you, because we have the stupid SmartFilter on out school's computers..bah. Anyway, it's like $70.
3. A waterproof blanket for Zane. The one that I wanted isn't in his size, so I want this one-
It's like $29.00. Yeah, so what, I live in Michigan. But it has fleece lining, and he's fuzzy, so it doesn't really matter anyway, does it?
4. A lesson with Myra Wagener. It's $60.00 for one, 45 min lesson, but they are sooo beneficial.
5. Umm, I'm not sure what else.
Update-
We may be moving Zane. Sue is getting too expensive. I'm thinking of moving him to Terri Luneack's. It's not a dressage farm, and board is $300.00 a month. She has heated barn, outside arenas, a huge inside arena, and such. Also, I'm thinking of doing a lesson a month, and just having her send me a training plan. I don't really want to move. Sue says that I'm good rider,but she is afraid that Zane is just becoming a hobby. She wants me out there like 4-5 days as week. I try to get out there at least 3 days a week. One, I have to be home for my sister, and I'm usually busy. I don't know, it just sort of erks me. I know that he needs to be worked, and we were thinking of just having Sue take him on as school horse, but he'd still be mine. She's thinking of retiring and isn't taking any more boarders on. I don't know. I may move him to Joyce's...but I have no idea how much she is a month.
